TRANSPARENCY STATEMENT

All Aka Gioielli products are made of 925/°°° Silver and can be subjected to a galvanic bath of rose gold, yellow gold, rhodium, platinum, ruthenium and/or protective anti-oxidation coatings. The jewels of the Aka Gioielli brand, made with high-quality hypoallergenic materials and following rigorous production standards, can be decorated with enamel and/or synthetic/artificial stones. The materials used for Aka Gioielli products comply with Regulation (EC) No. 1907/2006 (REACH) and Regulation (EU) No. 494/2011.

LEGAL GUARANTEE OF CONFORMITY

All products sold by Aka Gioielli are covered by the 24 (twenty-four) month legal guarantee of conformity for lack of conformity, pursuant to Title III of Italian Legislative Decree No. 206/2005, as subsequently amended (Italian Legislative Decree No. 170/2021).
Surface treatments such as rhodium plating, platinum plating, ruthenium plating, gold plating and anti-oxidation coatings are finishes subject to normal wear over time. Therefore, their progressive deterioration resulting from normal use of the jewellery does not constitute a lack of conformity and is not covered by the legal guarantee of conformity.
For this reason, we recommend avoiding contact with cosmetics and perfumes, chemical substances and, in particular, chlorine, as well as prolonged exposure to water, salt water and chlorinated water. Particular care should also be taken when engaging in sports, household activities or other activities that may cause friction or expose the jewellery to substances that could damage its finish.
Accidental breakage of stones and damage resulting from improper or incorrect use of the jewellery are also excluded from the guarantee.

MATERIALS

925 SILVER
Aka Gioielli uses only the highest quality sterling silver, hypoallergenic and treated with different finishes.

  • Rhodium plating : to maintain the characteristic shine of the metal.
  • Yellow gold or rose gold plating : with 18Kt gold base, to further enhance some jewels.
  • Oxidation : when you want to give a vintage effect to a certain collection.

STONES
 Aka Gioielli uses a wide assortment of synthetic stones, as well as Cubic Zirconia and Swarovski Crystals. All stones are carefully selected.

ENAMEL
 To add color and highlight some details, Aka Gioielli uses hand-worked enamels. The enamel details are water resistant but could be damaged by corrosive substances. However, enamel remains a fragile material, sensitive to impacts and scratches.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS

  • Always put your jewelry back in its box after wearing it to avoid scratches.
  • Clean them regularly with a small amount of neutral soap diluted in water and dry them with a soft cloth.
  • Avoid wearing your jewelry while doing household chores, handling bleach or detergents and/or chemicals that can damage the electroplated finishes.
  • Be careful when using cosmetic products; in particular, make sure that the following products do not come into contact with your jewelry, as they may tarnish the silver: creams, deodorants, perfumes, hairsprays or lotions of any kind.
  • Do not wear your jewelry while bathing in the sea, spa or swimming pool (sulfur and chlorine oxidize silver, making it dark and opaque).
  • Exposure to humidity, heat and sweat accelerates the oxidation process of the jewel. If it should happen accidentally, do not worry: our jewels, unlike other products not made of silver, in case of oxidation can return to their original appearance if washed with specific products for cleaning jewels or simply with a solution of warm water and bicarbonate.
